67 Percent of The World Population Owns Mobiles :)

The phone seemed to have become a ‘must’ for many people. Not only in rich countries, but also has penetrated the poorest countries in the world. Quoted from Stlttoday, Thursday (25/2/2010), the UN Telecommunications Agency (International Telecommunication Union) report, approximately 4.6 billion or 67 percent of the population has been using the phone. This amount increases from year to year. In 2002, there were only 1 billion mobile phone users in the world. “The level is incredibly grows,” said UN Telecommunications Agency.

UN Telecommunications Agency report covers the use of mobile phone, home phone and Internet usage in 159 countries. From the report revealed that 1.7 billion people or 26 percent of the total population connected to the internet world last year, up from 11 percent in 2002. However, there are also alarming facts revealed, that four out of five people who live in poor countries have not been touched bye the internet connection
