Android Smartphone Shift iPhone Away in US

CALIFORNIA – Android has slowly drift the iPhone aside, at least that was the data taken from Data AdMob America.

Though iPhone is – in general world market- the most popular smartphone, but the survey revealed that until March 2010, the android users in America has increased significantly up to 46%. On the other hand, iPhone dominated around 39% in smartphone market.

IPhone today is taking almost 46% OS share, and Android is participating 25% of the OS. Android’s apps advancement is predictably will shift the iPhone’s. In 18 months, android’s market apps has reached fifty thousand apps. In December 2009 android’s apps were only 16.000 available. Off course compared to iPhone, android apps are still far behind in quantity. Apple so far already has 190.000 apps available in Apple app store. (source : TechCrunch Online)
