Archos 5 Internet Tablet Android with Huge Resistive Touchscreen
Archos 5 Internet Tablet Super Slim is designed in 4.8 inch large touchscreen. It has 800×480 pixel resolution which produces a fascinating bright and beautiful colors result. Archos 5 Internet Tablet can play some video formats like WMV, AVI and MKV at the resolution is up to 720p.
Archos 5 Internet Tablet is supported with on-board Wi-Fi with internet’s access via android web browser. Some other Android applications which already installed in this device is an integrated email client, ThinkFree Office Suite which allows us to view our work documents like Word and Excel files ; Twidroid app to update our Twitter account and eBuddy instant messaging application.
Unfortunately the Google’s Android Market is not available for Archos 5, but Archos has it’s own app store named AppLib. The resistive touchscreen is somewhat complained for it’s not as capacitive as other gadgets like iPhone.
Archos 5 Internet Tablet also completed with on-board GPS which comes with free seven-days trial with the available sat-nav software. But all the GPS function will loose once the trial satellite navigation trial period is ended because Google Maps is not available in this device.
The super-slim Archos 5 Internet Tablet with 32GB of flash memory, is sold around £230. Two thicker models with hard drives are featuring 160GB version for about £250 and the 500GB version is sold for about £290.
