The Detroit Auto Show 2011 (North American International Auto Show / NAIAS 2011) is among the most prestigious auto shows in the world and is one of the largest media events in North America. Wiesmann Roadster MF3
Wiesmann Roadster MF3 will maintain its current engine as the MF4 and MF5 product series will likely be upgrading to new engine types. Weismann hopes to bank on BMW twin turbo technologies for their model series MF4 and MF5.
Wiesmann announced that it is going to replace the V10 engine from MF4 and MF5 models with a V8 twin-turbo engine that develops 407 HP for MF4 and 555 HP for MF5. This may enable the MF4 model to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds, reaching a leading speed of 181 mph. For the MF5, the acceleration from 0-60 mph can be attained in 3.9 seconds, together with the top speed becoming 193 mph.

Toyota recalls 1.33 million Corollas
Toyota has announced a “Voluntary Safety Recall” on Certain Toyota Corolla and Corolla Matrix Models.
The company says the recall would be to address some “Engine Control Modules (ECM) that might happen to be improperly produced.”
The voluntary recall is for the around 1.13 million 2005-2008 design Corolla and Corolla Matrix versions sold in North America.
No other Toyota or Lexus autos are included in this recall, the company says.
There are 3 unconfirmed accidents alleged to become associated with this situation, one of which reported a minor injury, the company says in its press release.
