GreenPeace ‘Greenest Electrical Companies’ of 2010 List Released
GreenPeace had decided The Finland Company, Nokia as number one in Green Company chart. The list was released last week. The list showed that Nokia was taking the first place, while Sony Ericsson and Phillips was taking second and third place.
Toshiba and Samsung is out of big ten, both company was considered ‘failed’ in omitting PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) and BFR (Brominated Flame Reterdants) in their products. FYI, PVC and BFR is added to avoid electronics product burned, unfortunately both material is quite dangerous for human’s health.
The Greenpeace List is expected to urge electronics manufactures to be more aware of maintaining a greener environment, with keeping the commitment to keep PVC and BFR away from their produts.
