HP Veer Tiny Slide Phone with Large 800Mhz Processor Power
Looking for a tiny mobile phone slide design, yet powerful? Hewlett-Packard (HP) has named HP’s smartphone make it happen in this Veer. This is the first post-acquisition webOS phone Palm by HP.
Palm Acquisition is an essential step for HP before they entered the smartphone market. HP seems smitten with the operating system webOS owned Palm. Armed with Snapdragon 7230 at 800Mhz processor, this phone is clearly marketed to the middle class and above.
From the display, the HP Veer carrying the 2.6-inch screen with a resolution of 320×400 pixels. While this camera has reached the 5 megapixel camera with EDoF technology. This tiny mobile phone is also equipped with an internal memory of 8 GB, accelorometer, and light sensor.
Unfortunately HP has not released official details regarding attendance and the price of this little slide phone. As quoted from Engadget on Thursday HP Veer reportedly will come around April 2011.
