Mitsubishi i-Meiv Electric Car

Mitsubishi is about to announce the new electric vehicle in details, including the price and specification. This car is named with Mitsubishi i-Meiv, that will be  sold in the beginning of July this year. Mitsubishi i-Meiv is still limited, for the sale or government’s office group. While the public sale is given in April 2010.

Mitsubishi i-Meiv is planned to be manufactured in 1,400 electric cars units to the government and the company, with price of  with $ 45,300, after the cut of electricity subsidies from the Japanese government with a value of $ 14,300.

Mitsubishi i-Meiv is using Li-Ion battery, with the strength of 47Kw motor and can reach the distance of 100 miles before the battery charged back again. Charging is also fast, it only takes 30 minutes on a charge. Or can be filled with 220V at home that requires 7 hours . Mitsubishi i-Meiv based the technology upon energy recycling, meaning when we push the brake, the energy can be used to recharge the car battery.

  1. Wow! That is a great looking electric car. We have been depending of fossil fuel for far too long. It is time for a change. No doubt there are a few drawbacks on pure electric car right now, but we shouldn’t ignore it.

    Can’t wait to see all the electric cars on the road.
