Samsung Epic 4G The Evo Competitors in WiMAX
Wimax mobile has a new comer join the crowd. The new player is Samsung with Samsung Epic 4G. Same as its predecessor, Epic 4G is using Android operating system with temporary ‘brain’ to entrust to Hummingbird 1 GHz processors.
Samsung Epic has smaller screen size (4 inch, 0.3 inch is different from the HTC EVO). Also another difference was evident in the presence of slide-out qwerty keyboard on the Epic. However, this phone also has touch screen capabilities. As quoted from TgDaily, Samsung Epic 4G is completed with pre-installed typing technology called Swype.
Swype itself is fast typing technology that is believed to facilitate the user when writing a message or note. Usage is also quite unique, user lives do a ‘sweep’ to use her fingers to the letters that you want, then this technology will automatically predict search terms.
Epic is a completely a new product for Samsung. Because its presence is said is the result of the development of a series S Galaxy, only a few faces made in the side and buried with 4G technology.
Samsung itself already took the Sprint, the telecommunications operator in the United States that provide WIMAX services to market Epic. If there is no hindrance crosswise, mobile phone with dual camera will be presented at the fourth quarter of 2010 and would compete with the Evo HTC.
