Radio has been familiar in our life right ? and for all these times, radio that is sold around us is just a common device in a common shape. But when you take a look at this one, this really is something. It is called Sensia. It is unique indeed since it uses a touch screen technology, A radio technology that has never been applied before – I guess.

Sensia is designed TFT touchscreen with interface which is similar to iPod. The audio system if featuring DAB and digital radio with full Band III. Wireless media streaming is supporting input from iPods and/or iPhone and other kinds of MP3 Player via the mini USB. We can also download Pure apps and we’ll be able to connect to social network such as facebook, twitter, picasa, etc.
Station slide shows has performed an artwork on the unit’s display, the album covers are shown on screen when we’re streaming. All favorites stations are stored in one location.
Registered users can access up to more than 10,000 radio stations. We can Quick Jump, if we know the name of our station, or type it in using the touch screen qwerty keyboard. Use the search engine to find a station by genre, country or language. Or search by stream quality – only listen to stations with the best quality reception.
The touch screen radio has a number of useful alarms, including sleep timer and kitchen timer. The optional in-unit rechargeable battery pack keeps the unit operational for up to 10 hours of portable listening. According to the official site, The Sensia will be available from Amazon UK at the end of October for about GBP£250 (USD$400)
