Bringing Windows Phone 7, Acer Follows Nokia
Acer finally follows in the footsteps of Nokia by proclaiming its collaboration with Microsoft. That is, a company which is known as PC makers are now just waiting for time to release a Windows mobile phone 7 (WP7). Acer spokesman said they wanted the Acer mobile phone WP7 OS can be released as soon as possible. But seeing the situation that there is finally a plan was deferred in September or October. Acer’s course will strengthen the WP7 power base .
The problem is, though somewhat newer products, but the charm of Microsoft’s mobile OS is doubt compared to Android, because there are so many mobile phone vendors are attracted to use the services of WP7. In addition, the track record of mobile Windows OS is also somewhat less to shiny. In fact, when Nokia choose WP7 as a partner, any number of analysts was surprised.
Even so, Microsoft is still Microsoft. The company, founded by billionaire Bill Gates still holds as the giant software vendors in the world. So, the software from Microsoft certainly can not be underestimated. Now, it is up to Microsoft to woo the vendors to make a partnership and using WP7 rather than Android, Symbian or other mobile OS.
