Galaxy Q : Samsung Qwerty Galaxy Droid

After unveiling the Galaxy S, the South Korean vendors have set up a new ammunition through the Galaxy Q. Carrying a slightly different concept of ‘brother Galaxy S’, the Galaxy Q was born with a Qwerty keyboard. As quoted from Techtree, Tuesday, Galaxy Q said to be a small version of the Galaxy S. Both were equally using 1 GHz processor and 16 GB of internal memory.

Basically, all existing features on the phone are the same as the ones in Galaxy S. Only the difference is Galaxy Q already featured with Flash for the camera, one thing that has been complained by Galaxy S users.

Samsung seems to have been aware of their deficiency. No doubt, the Galaxy Q was already present with a flash lamp equipped and capable 8-megapixel camera. The front camera has been upgraded from VGA to 1.3 megapixels. In addition, when released into the mobile market later, the Galaxy Q is said to be directly has version 2.2 aka Android Froyo. Galaxy Q Super AMOLED screen size is smaller than the Galaxy S. It is only shaped in 3 inches and 720×480 resolution. While the Galaxy screen S is featuring 4-inch wide SUPER AMOLED screen and 800×480 resolution.

iPhone and Android Will Dominate Phone Cell-Market in 2015

Ovum research firm projected that the total amount of the downloadable mobile application in the Asia Pacific region will reach 5.3 billion later in 2015 later. The majority came from the Apple iPhone and mobile users Google Android. From these approximate figures, a total of 597.15 million applications, or approximately 11% of them will be controlled by the iPhone. The total downloaded apps will only be rivaled by other mobile users that use the Android operating systems.

“Apple iPhone will dominate the smartphone market segment of high end within the next five years. However, this dominance will remain under strong competition from Android-based handsets,” said Ovum analyst Adam Leach, as quoted from the AFP on Wednesday .

According to Leach, the presence of Google Android started two years ago have become a new phenomenon and allow every handset maker creates an interesting alternative to the iPhone. In fact, Leach said, a handset that uses Android platform looks like iPhone clone. “Android-based device offers a wider freedom with the available content . And perhaps more interesting than the device with content that is only approved by Apple alone,” he added.

LG Is Promising Super Tablet PC This Year

The phenomenon of iPad Apple Tablet has made some world class electronic vendors contesting for touchscreen tablet.

Now LG is joining in ‘tablet war’ following Asus, MSI, Toshiba, and Dell.

As quoted from Vnunet, The South Corean vendor LG is promising a Super tablet PC, in slim and light design. LG is still counting on Android OS 2.2 or called Froyo OS. No further specification detail on the product, but rumor said LG Super Tablet PC will be unveiled at the forth quarter this year.
