Google has introduced the next edition of Android OS, nicknamed Android Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS), a point of reality. Much better called Android 4.0, the update offers a enormous redesign for the user interface and adds a plethora of new features. Google had sweet new treats in shop for Android fans in its I/O Developers conference keynote: Android 3.1, and previewed 4.0, aka Ice Cream Sandwich. Google also detailed its new item, Music Beta.

There is no launch day for Ice Cream Sandwich, which guarantees to operate on all Android products, ending the OS split in between tablets and smartphones. The update will bring some attributes of Android 3.0 aka Honeycomb, these as the user interface and multitasking capabilities, to smartphones.

Android Gingerbread will go for HTC Desire Family Lines

HTC ever promised that some of its Android smartphone, would have acquired the allocation of android Gingerbread. The Taiwanese vendors are on the head and announced that the HTC family line, HTC Desire and HTC Incredible S will get the Gingerbread.

In detail, Gingerbread updates will be visited handset Desire, Desire HD, Desire Z and the Incredible S. It’s certainly exciting news for users who want to taste like what Gingerbread permissibility. “We are pleased to announce that Desire HD, Desire Z, Desire and the Incredible S will receive Gingerbread an update on second quarter 2011,” said a spokesman for HTC, quoted from SlashGear yesterday.
