Releases Two Tablets, Acer Carefully Removes Netbook

This year, Acer plans to release two tablet PC with two different sizes. Reportedly, this Acer step at a time as part of efforts to reduce their netbooks products gradually.

The Taiwan-based company was scheduled to launch a tablet-sized 7 and 10 inches in July 2011. Both, as said Sales Manager for Acer Lu Bing-Xian, will run the Android operating system and uses the latest Intel processor Intel, Sandy Bridge.

Bing-Xian stated that the launch of the both tablets products will begin to replace netbooks gradually, in accordance with market demand. As we know the tablet PCs are into the current market direction, as quoted from PC World last Wednesday.

Xian added Acer is still producing netbooks which has been the flagship products, but with the number of units less than in previous years. Armed with four processor cores, Bing-Xian promising Acer tablet will be more drag than a laptop with Windows operating system. No more leaks about details of both products. Looks like Acer is trying to keep it secret for a surprise when its release later.

Motorola’s Android 4G Is Market Ready

Motorola introduced the new 4G Android phone. The phone is equipped with dual-core processor Nvidia Tegra 2, 1GB RAM, and OS Android 2.2 Froyo is named Motorola Atrix 4G. As quoted from techtree, Motorola CEO Sanjay Jha Mobility introduces Atrix 4G as Motorola’s mobile phone released the best current 4 inch screen with 960×540 pixel resolution. Unfortunately, he does not mention its retail price.

Along with LG Optimus 2X which has Nvidia Tegra SoC 2, Motorola Atrix 4G will complement the consumers’ choice of dual-core Android phone. With the big screen, this phone promises the quality of 24-bit color graphics. In terms of connectivity, Atrix has HSPA + equivalent 4G.

From the side view, the phone is still using Motoblur UI as the previous generation phone. This phone has 16 GB of internal storage capacity, and can be filled with a maximum of 32 GB memory card. Unfortunately, the embedded camera only 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and VGA front camera. The camera supports 720p HD video recording mode.

Atrix 4G also supports Flash Player 10.1. The phone is equipped with 1930 mAh lithium battery is claimed to have endurance duration talked for nine hours. Atrix estimated 4G comes first quarter of 2011.

Motorola Tablet Leaks Started Circulating

The news about Motorola’s tablet PCs was back again re-emerged. This time, circulating information revealed the specifications of these tablets. Quoted from TechPinger on Thursday last week, information about the leaks is discussed in a technology forum in China. One of its members, claiming to know the specifications of the tablet are prepared to compete with the iPad.
