Dell Will Release New Dell Streak 2 Android Tablet

Repeating the success of Streak, Dell plans to add tablets variants  by launching two new products. Streak Dell’s second generation and a new tablet is still a secret.

Seeing this phenomenon, Dell is optimistic to continue to launch variants of tablets that will be released several months ahead.

Dell Streak 2, is said to have slightly better specs than its predecessor. For example, use larger resolution 1280 x 800 pixels. While the first generation Streak just 480 x 800

pixels. Dell Streak 2 also later will use the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Besides Streak 2, Dell will also promise to bring the tablet with a larger screen size. Unfortunately, detailed product specification in still in question.

Sharp is Preparing 3D Android Phone

Ever hear of android tablet prepared Sharp Android? Yes, there are two tablets are being prepared, the Galapagos 003SH and 005SH. Both will take you to the world of three-dimensional (3D).

Sharp said to view 3D content in the tablet that also functions as a cell phone with the naked eye alias without special glasses needed. Both tablets provided 1GHz Snapdragon CPUs, operating systems Android 2.2 and 3.8-inch screen with 3D capabilities as well as resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.

Reported by Mashable , there are some major differences between these two android tablet-phone. For the type 005SH, there will be QWERTY keyboard. While the 003SH series does not have QWERTY yet but equipped with better cameras, with a 9.6 megapixel model that can record 720p video. To 005SH, only 8 megapixel camera.

The launch of the two tablets will be different. For the Galapagos 003SH will be coming soon from December 2010, while the Galapagos 005SH followed in February next year. Pricing tag offered is not yet confirmed.

Got Many Complaints, Toshiba Android Tablet Stopped The Sale

Toshiba endevour to enter tablets market is facing a steep road. Recently launched, the electronics retailer in the UK decided to cancel the sale of Toshiba’s tablet Folio 100 for a while. Tablet Folio Froyo armed with the Android OS is in fact received many complaints from consumer. A few units even returned because of some of was damaged.

Simon Branney, a spokesman for Dixon in the UK retail said that he no longer sold the Folio for a hile because the high level of return products. He also added that he did not want to give a bad experience for costumers on a certain product that is actually very good. But Branney didn’t mention the detail damage occurred. Folio commonly troubled about Flash, screen and the difficulty of access to the Android Marketplace.

Clearly, as quoted from PCWorld, Tuesday, the incident hit Toshiba’s efforts to take advantage tasting tablet the growing market. Toshiba Folio previously touted convincing enough to rival the iPad.
