Sharp is Preparing 3D Android Phone

Ever hear of android tablet prepared Sharp Android? Yes, there are two tablets are being prepared, the Galapagos 003SH and 005SH. Both will take you to the world of three-dimensional (3D).

Sharp said to view 3D content in the tablet that also functions as a cell phone with the naked eye alias without special glasses needed. Both tablets provided 1GHz Snapdragon CPUs, operating systems Android 2.2 and 3.8-inch screen with 3D capabilities as well as resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.

Reported by Mashable , there are some major differences between these two android tablet-phone. For the type 005SH, there will be QWERTY keyboard. While the 003SH series does not have QWERTY yet but equipped with better cameras, with a 9.6 megapixel model that can record 720p video. To 005SH, only 8 megapixel camera.

The launch of the two tablets will be different. For the Galapagos 003SH will be coming soon from December 2010, while the Galapagos 005SH followed in February next year. Pricing tag offered is not yet confirmed.

LG Optimus One Record 1 Millions In Fourty Days

LG electronics has the chance to taste androids fame. The third largest mobile phone vendor in the world announced that the Android Froyo Optimus One has sold 1 million units. That was pretty one considering the amount sold out in 40 days only.

As quoted from TechRadar on Wednesday, Optimus One was carved with a record as the fastest selling smartphone in the history of LG, with an average sold 25 thousand units per day. Optimus One indeed sold for relatively competitive price. Currently, mobile phones are marketed in several European countries, Asia and the United States.

Dr. Park Jong-seok, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company stated that LG Optimus One is designed to ease the transition into the world of smartphones and the number of sales showed a big demand for this type of phone. The best-selling Optimus is certainly a good news for the South Korean vendors. For all this time, LG somewhat face fierce rivalry in the segment smart phone.

LG Is Working LG Tablets Android Honeycomb

LG Electronics is getting closer to Tablet PC. The South Korean manufacturer is reportedly preparing an android tablet size 8.9-inch Honeycomb, which will be thrown to market in 2011. Quoted from Softpedia on Thursday, LG has officially confirmed the plan. It’s been a while that LG was widely reported to develop a tablet, which is named Optimus Pad.

The PC and mobile phones vendors, truely has made a rappid movement into tablet PC market since the success of the Apple iPad, and LG is no exception on it. They obviously do not want to see Apple dominate the market and controling up to 95% market share. Indeed, LG wants to adopt Android 2.2 or Froyo in this flagship tablet, but then Honeycomb is considered more suitable with the tablet device.

On the other hand, as rivals, Samsung has released the Galaxy Tab with Froyo. They are quite confident using this version of the Android OS. “There is a controversy whether Froyo is a suitable system for tablets, but the consumer who will decide the issue after using the Galaxy Tab,” said JK Shin, head of Samsung’s mobile division.
