Rumor on Windows 8 to be Supported With Windows 8 Store
Rumor had emerged that Windows 8 will be launched at 2012, with the beta version in early 2011. As written on softpedia last week, the successor of Windows 7 indeed had been arranged to appear within three years after. Microsoft stated that they will not repeat the long lag between Windows XP to Windows Vista.
Previously Mary-Jo Foley from Zdnet announced that microsoft has finished designing Milestone 1, a pioneer project to Windows 8. Unfortunately Microsoft it selft has not made any official statement.
FYI, a document on Windows 8 was leaked to public. In one of the document, releaved that Windows 8 will be focused on three kinds of gadgets : laptop, PC ‘all in one’, and slate/tablet. A Windows Store will also be built. This is going to be like Apple’s app store, or Google’s Android Market.
Android Smartphone Shift iPhone Away in US
CALIFORNIA – Android has slowly drift the iPhone aside, at least that was the data taken from Data AdMob America.
Though iPhone is – in general world market- the most popular smartphone, but the survey revealed that until March 2010, the android users in America has increased significantly up to 46%. On the other hand, iPhone dominated around 39% in smartphone market.
IPhone today is taking almost 46% OS share, and Android is participating 25% of the OS. Android’s apps advancement is predictably will shift the iPhone’s. In 18 months, android’s market apps has reached fifty thousand apps. In December 2009 android’s apps were only 16.000 available. iPad Tablet Caused Spike Leap in Apple Online Store
The birth of iPad has ignited software developers to refine the variety of interesting applications, no wonder Apple’s online store was flooded with new applications that counted tripled compared to the previous month. Now there are more than 140,000 applications available on the App Store. Referring to the report released Flurry Analytics analyst firm, a sharp increase in the number of these applications was triggered by the presence of iPad tablet computer, in January.
It was also reported that the spike number iPad application was expressed as the largest in the history Flurry tracking. Although Google‘s Android also increased the number of applications in the same month, but still Google Nexus still held a long way if compared to the Apple leap. “I’ve never seen such a a spike like this.
