Application in iTunes App Store continues to cleaning. After the application with the theme of pornography, what kind of applications that would be cleaned? Quoted from TechCrunch, the applications will be reduced to it’s minimal. These include applications that simply display RSS feeds and serves as a mere business card.

It is said that some apps from the instant application development services has been one Apple’s target. Some developers acknowledged that Apple had approached the developers for some time. Apple seems trying to improve the quality of the App Store. Some ‘instant’ applications were considered to have started to interfere with and even close to being spam.

As for users, clean up done will result in more neat-store application. Although, on the other hand, the number and choice of existing applications might be reduced quite a lot.

Microsoft Handphone is Ready For Sale ?

New York - It has been long rumored that Microsoft would produce their own cell phone. As mentioned in the latest news,Verizon has prepared to sell two Microsoft phones in around May or June 2010 in the United States. Quoted by Reuters on Friday (5/3/2010), a confidential source claimed the mobile was made for social networking site. Added, Microsoft developed the mobile device code-named Project Pink. Another source said, the handset is made by Sharp with Microsoft and Verizon logo pinned on it’s body.

Even the technology site Gizmodo claims to have leaked a promotional material to advertise Microsoft phone. Responding to this news, representatives from Verizon and Microsoft still declined to give comment. Microsoft has so far focused only competes in the realm of mobile phone software. But they got a tight competition from Apple, Google and others.

The previous news mentioned that Microsoft’s flagship phone will be named Turtle, and Pure. Both are intended to fulfill the networking site

1.2 Billion Mobile Phones Sold in 2009

Telecommunications equipment businesses were still one prominent interest in the world. Last year alone, the world mobile phone sales had reached 1.211 billion units. Wow! The results of the research institute was recently released by Gartner analyst. Even so, the number is still 0.9% lower than mobile phone sales in 2008. Whereas in the 2009 fourth quarter, sales of mobile phones had penetrated the number 340 million units or 8.3% climb than the same quarter the previous year.

Carolina Milanesi, the Research Director of Gartner announced that mobile device market had gone through with positive results during 2009 and, driven by growth in the range of smart phones and mobile lower classes. As quoted by Cellular News, Thursday (25 / 2 / 2010)Milanesi also said that the vendors that focus on smartphones like Apple and Research in Motion gained a great success compared to other mobile vendors, they controlled 14.4% and 19.9% of the world smartphone market
