The Cheaper Nook e-Reader from Barnes & Noble
Barnes & Noble made a splash last November with the launch of the $249 Nook Color, the first mainstream dedicated electronic reader with a full-color touch-screen. And the bookseller recently pushed out a major software upgrade for Nook Color to widen the appeal of its “reader tablet.”
The new device weighs less than 7.5 ounces, or 35% lighter and 15% thinner than the original Nook Wi-Fi was when it came out about a year and a half ago
The latest Nook fetches $139, which puts it above the $114 Amazon is charging for a Kindle with ads. You can pre-order online and in stores now and the updated Nook should start shipping to customers June 10th. You’ll also be able to pick one up at BestBuy, Walmart, Books-A-Million, and Staples for $139 at the same time.

Amazon Is Preparing Kindle for Android
Amazon is preparing Kindle with android-based. The android service in Kindle (Kindle Android) is featuring technology from some manufactures like Whispersync. Whispersync is a technology which is able to keep and synchronize bookmark tools in the device.
As quoted from TG Daily online, 540 thousand books are available via Kindle Store even without the Kindle handset it self.
According to Jay Marine, Director of Amazon Kindle, consumers of Kindle can access ebooks in Amazon by using android devices such as Nexus, Motorola, etc.
Right now amazong has 540 thousand books which comprises 96 of 110 New York Times Best Sellers, thousands of classic love stories, newspapers, blogs, magazines etc. Some of them are sold for free. The new platform of Kindle Android will work on android 1,6 of more.

Christmas and Holiday season is about to come soon, and what we’ll prepare for our dear friends, family and anyone around is off course gift. Actually I have some ideas about this gifts thing, and off course I’m very much inspired with some articles that I read from other blogs and website. Then I start surfing into this blog, and picking what kind of gadget gifts that might will do a good job for this season’s holiday gadget gifts.
I love reading, and so almost everybody around me. And so.. the first thing in my mind is …. an e-book reader. I read on an article that based on surveys, e-book reader fits the best for 35-54 years old, well this gadget might not so ‘yihaaa…’ for kinds, but this gadget will go ‘yesss….’ for our parents and our friends
