Rumor on Windows 8 to be Supported With Windows 8 Store

Rumor had emerged that Windows 8 will be launched at 2012, with the beta version in early 2011. As written on softpedia last week, the successor of Windows 7 indeed had been arranged to appear within three years after. Microsoft stated that they will not repeat the long lag between Windows XP to Windows Vista.

Previously Mary-Jo Foley from Zdnet announced that microsoft has finished designing Milestone 1, a pioneer project to Windows 8. Unfortunately Microsoft it selft has not made any official statement.

FYI, a document on Windows 8 was leaked to public. In one of the document, releaved that Windows 8 will be focused on three kinds of gadgets : laptop, PC ‘all in one’, and slate/tablet. A Windows Store will also be built. This is going to be like Apple’s app store, or Google’s Android Market.

Google Never Gives Up On Facebook

Google might be the ‘king of search engine, but anyhow social networking still belongs to facebook or twitter. A rumor indicates that Google still haven’t given up in social network service. The rumor was first spread by Kevin Rose (‘Digg’ founder) via twitter. Kevin Rose him self claimed that he got the news from a ‘trustable source’.

Quoted from SFWeekly on Monday, if the rumor by Rose really is true, then this will be Google’s second attempt to build a social network.

Previously Google already had a site named Orkut, Google has also tried to compete twitter with Google Buzz. But all those efforts didn’t lead any good. SFWeekly announced that Google Me is predicted as the upgrade-version toward the existing Google Profiles.

Apple and Google : We Hate Adobe

Steve Jobs confrontation against Adobe is getting more and more clearer by time. Apple has even encourage developers to ignore Flash Player technology for all devices and start turning into HTML5 for website, software and application designs.The urge was clearly declared in apple’s official website. The demo showed various capabilities of HTML5. The HTML5 standard is opened, dependable, very secure and very efficient, said Apple.

Apple added that HTML5 enable website developers and designers to create a better pictures, better typography, better animation and better transition. HTML5 (Hypertext Markup Language) is the latest programming language which is created to reduce the necessity of using plug-in or adds-on which nowadays are offered by Flash.

Steve Jobs had previously said that Flash is only compatible for PC and Mouses devices. Flash is too old-fashioned and definitely un-compatible for touchscreen. Flash is also very susceptible to virus.
