Firefox 4 Beta 9 New Look
Mozilla will soon release Firefox 4. But before the final version is presented, the Mozilla browser allows users to try out this new through beta. Through this trial version, Mozilla began introducing the appearance as well as various new features that will be present in Firefox 4.
As quoted from digitaltrends, Firefox 4 Beta 9 comes with a faster starting time, including a new bookmark in it.
This version is made for users to find their browsing needs, through the latest features in the Mozilla browser. Described in testimony, Firefox Sync feature will later be integrated directly in the browser. As a result users would be able to access the latest data, history, bookmarks, tabs, and passwords across PCs or smartphones.
For developers and web designers, Firefox 4 beta 9 will support HTML5, WebM, HD video, 3D graphics rendering with WebGL, hardware acceleration, and an API that Mozilla Audio to create a better web content.
`Mango` The First Update on WP7 Plus HTML 5
Last week hot news on Windows Phone 7 (WP7) was about rumors update towards this platform. Coming events Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in early January mentioned that Microsoft will use the event to introduce a major update of their new platform.
Unfortunately WP7 first major update comes in the month from August to September 2011. A few weeks ago was widely heard the news, updates WP7 present from January to February 2011. But according to ZDNet site quoted last week, it’s just a minor update only.
Major Update on WP7 itself will be named ‘Mango’, which will support HTML format 5 and Silverlight run-time. For information, Silverlight currently already exist in WP7, but not for browser plugins in it. Not only that, Mango will also supported with Far East languages such as China, Japan, and Korea, which currently is not available. Clearly, any important updates that Microsoft should fix the two major weaknesses WP7, first: the issue of copy-paste and the multi-tasking support.
Firefox 4 It`s Faster, Simpler and No Flash
Mozilla is on the way preparing its firefox 4, which is said to be released by the end of 2010. Mike Beltzner, Firefox Director of Development, as quoted from TBO last week, stated that this new browser will offer more advancement. Firefox 4 which is said to be released by the end of this year, is promised to have a more simple appearance and off course a faster browsing speed.
Mozilla considers the present Firefox is complicated. Later on Firefox 4 will have a simpler menu buttons to ease consumers to access this browser. Firefox 4 will be more stable and takes less adds-on programs on it. A brand new web programming, HTML 5 will enable videos and other multimedia contents, to be played without using Adobe Flash. With the features offered in Firefox 4, Firefox 4 will have a much faster web browsing speed.
Firefox is the world’s second most popular browser after Internet Explorer from Microsoft. Microsoft it self is also said about to prepare its latest update. It seems that there will be a tight competitions between the two browsers.
