Rumors on iPhone CDMA 4G is Blowing Strong

Rumors on iPhone CDMA shipping to South Korea is blowing hard. Even Operator Verizon is rumored to be supporting the marketing of the iPhone 4G (iPhone with an LTE ability aka 4G).

Local newspapers called the Korea Herald, reported that Senior Vice President of LG Uplus, Choi Joo-sick, stated that Apple and LG had an intense discussion with LG Uplus , South Korean wireless operator to offer a iPhone CDMA to consumers in local areas. Such information is quoted from Softpedia, Tuesday.

Meanwhile, a different report was launched from a site called Today’s iPhone claimed that Apple’s iPhone will soon bring new iPhone that supports the standard LTE (Long Term Evolution) or commonly known as 4G, with Verizon as the operator who carried it. The site mentioned and included all the photographs iPhone 4G with Verizon service. Not to forget, an ‘LTE’ writing was also seen in the upper left corner of the screen that shows that the fourth-generation network protocol (4G) are selected.

Still, this news could not be ascertained truth because Apple itself has not given any confirmation on this.

Ortustech HD screen Conquer iPhone Retine

Screen technology has been so increasing. Ortustech, a company whose founder is one of the vendors from Japan, Casio, claims to have created the smallest screen full HD (High Definition) technology.

Using Casio’s technology, dubbed Hyper Amorphous Silicone TFT (Hast), this screen has a very high number of pixels in a small field. As quoted from PCMag last Tuesday, the screen only 4.8 inch extend.

Compared to the iPhone 4 retina screen that supposedly most sophisticated, these screens look better. With 458 pixels per inch (ppi), the display screen of Ortustech pass over the retina that contains ‘only’ 326 ppi. Ortustech also features 1920×1080 pixel resolution, while the iPhone 4 has 960 × 640 pixels. Ortustech also claimed having 30% clearer screen than its competitors with point of view reaches 160 degrees and has 16.8 million colors.

Ortustech screen seemed to be functioning great to used in a smartphone or a gaming device, but however it has not been mentioned whether it will eventually be marketed in electronic products.

Blackberry Crashed Against iPhone in Global Market

In the global smartphone market, the BlackBerry has fallen in the hands of Apple’s iPhone, as claimed from Strategy Analytics research firm . The conclusion was obtained from Global smartphone data taken in the third quarter of 2010.

According to Strategy Analytics, a total of 15.4 million iPhone units shipped in that period, while shipments BlackBerry “only” reached 12.4 million units. In the third quarter, both the iPhone and RIM BlackBerry showed sales growth from the previous period. But RIM is ‘just’ up 46%, while the iPhone increased almost 2-times.
