Clevo X8100 Claimed It Self `The Fastest Gaming Laptop in the world`
Taiwan’s Clevo seri X8100 is said as the fastest laptop designed for gamers. As written in gizmag early this month, Clevo X8100 is featuring three core i7 processor (1.6GHz 720QM, the 1.73GHz 820QM or the 2GHz 920XM Extreme), one- to-two nVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics with SLI technology support.
Clevo X8100 has a 18,4 inch LCD display with full 1080p high definition resolution. The keyboard contains eight programmable gaming keys. The easy operating is also supported by eight more touch sensitive hot keys for quick access application such as WLAN, Bluetooth and volume setting. Clevo X8100 has touchpad which support gestures and scrolling. Clevo X8100 laptop has four USB 2.0 ports and 7-in-1 card reader, bluetooth 2.1 and TV Tuner for entertainment. Gizmag in it’s article wrote that Clevo X8100 is about to cost US$2000.
Some other laptops manufactures had also promised to unveil things in similar. Like MSI GT6600 gaming laptop (which will feature USB 3.0 ports on board and up t 12Gb RAM). Asus had also announced it’s i7 configuration gaming machines, while alienware had already done it for public
Alex, Laptop Computer For Newbies, Seniors and even Phobias
Laptops today are equipped with modern advanced features – or complicated if we may say 
. No wonder a few people confused or even phobia wear. A company in the UK has recently released a laptop that really for the beginners class. Vendor Broadband Computer Company (BCC) produced a laptop named Alex which is claimed having a very simple interface. 
Alex is specially designed for new computer users and the seniors. Features like e-mail, web browsing, image editing software or office software all simplified. Icons displayed appears large and very simple.
Alex Price is hardly cheap, it’s cost about 400 Pounds Sterling. Alex already features qualified hardware with Intel Celeron T1600, 1.6 GHz 1GB RAM, 120GB hard drive and webcam. Alex is based on Linux can be a simple alternative to the popular operating systems like Windows or Mac. Target market are those who feel frustrated using sophisticated computer today.
As quoted from Oneindia, Thursday (25/2/2010), Andy Hudson as Alex’s boss claimed that BCC is designed to be used with ease and fun. Alex had thrown into the British market. Currently there are no further explanation whether this laptop would visit frustrated computer users in foreign countries.
Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid Concept : Laptop and Tablet in One
Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid is still in concept, a laptop which is comprising tablet PC in one hand hold. Lenovo IdeaPad U1 is designed in a pop-out display which means it runs indepently to the laptop shell. The main body of the laptop will feature an Intel Core 2 Duo ULV CPU, a 128GB SSD hard drive, and Windows 7 Home Premium. While the removable tablet display will use a Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, its own battery, Lenovo’s Skylight operating system and 16GB of flash memory.
The screen is featuring 802,11n WiFi, an integrated 3G module, stereo speakers and off course a webcam. The weight is 725g. The combined device in complete mode is less than 1,6Kg weight. Both laptop and tablet mode is expected to ease the users in optimizing our need, like we can use the laptop mode only, or else take the 11,6 inch screen away in our journey.
As I read in crave.cnet.co.uk, the switching mode will probably (or almost certainly it may say) lead to an inconsistent user experience. And it will cost more than its less complex rivals — $999 (£624).
