Sony Vaio Y Ready to Challenge the MacBook Air

Ultra-thin laptop from Apple, MacBook Air, has come out the newest version. Sony seems to respond the Apple move, and launches Y series Vaio laptop with a new design to match. Vaio models VPCYA19FJ / B has the same screen size with one version of the MacBook Air, which is 11.6 Inch. And although less than the MacBook Air thin, its design could still said to be very slim.

Quoted from Cnet, on Thursday (11/11/2010), Y Vaio weight only 3 pounds, 1 pound heavier than the MacBook Air. Then the thinnest part of the new Y Vaio is only about the size of 1.2 inches.
