Sony Vaio Y Ready to Challenge the MacBook Air

Ultra-thin laptop from Apple, MacBook Air, has come out the newest version. Sony seems to respond the Apple move, and launches Y series Vaio laptop with a new design to match. Vaio models VPCYA19FJ / B has the same screen size with one version of the MacBook Air, which is 11.6 Inch. And although less than the MacBook Air thin, its design could still said to be very slim.

Quoted from Cnet, on Thursday (11/11/2010), Y Vaio weight only 3 pounds, 1 pound heavier than the MacBook Air. Then the thinnest part of the new Y Vaio is only about the size of 1.2 inches. Sony Playstation Portable 2 “PSP2″ Appears With e-Book Reader and Netbook?

The news about Sony’s preparation of their latest gaming console, the PlayStation Portable 2 (PSP2) was not just a figment. The Japanese electronics giant had confirmed the launch schedule for this gadget. PSP2 promised would give a new sensation for gamers who are used to carry a portable gaming console. Because the console is quite different from the current PSP. For example, the placement of the touch panel.

Touch panel on the PSP2 is reportedly be placed on the back of the console. The shape and operation system are similar to the existing trackpad on a notebook. Sony Vaio E-series : It’s Rainbow All Over

Sony Vaio seems to never losing it’s sense or art. Ok, for a little reminder, i’ve just posted about Sony Vaio M series which featuring 10,1 inch monitor, and today another touch of Sony Vaio ‘rainbow’ collection can be seen in this series. It is Sony Vaio E-series which is available not only in black and white, but also in some other color choices, named them pink, green and blue. Sony Vaio E-series is designed in two types, the 14-inch and 17-inch screens.

Some of this gadgets price as I read from crave UK, the black model of 14inch Sony Vaio-E-series is available for £800. Black Sony Vaio-E-series is featuring a blu-ray drive. While with £1000 consumers may get the higher resolution screen which run with a faster Intel Core i5-430M processor.

How about the ‘rainbow’ shell ? Well for the pink, blue, green or the white ones, consumers will get the same specification as that the black model, EXCEPT for the a little-pointless-blu-ray-drive thing. Read more
