Apple : Welcome Opera Mini
Apple’s decision to give their open arm to Opera Mini had surprised public, considering iPhone so far is taking Safari with it.
Opera announced yesterday that Apple had agreed to welcome Opera Mini for iPhone and iPod Touch. Opera had even announced that Opera Mini will soon be available in App Store for free, and will be able for download.
Previously many people doubt that Apple will allow Opera Mini to join App Store. Apple so far is straight in controlling the application in App Store, more over if the application will rival to iPhone’s package.
Opera Mini for iPhone and iPod Touch will have similar features like in other phones. Which means Opera Mini will include their capability in compressing data up to 90%, to make web browsing and loading faster and more effective. Lars Boilese, CEO of Opera Software said Opera felt very happy to be able to offer experience in web browsing via Opera Mini App to iPhone and iPod Touch users.
Opera Mini Is Ready to Move Safari on iPhone
Opera is ready to challenge the existence of the Safari browser on the iPhone. This will be proved in the event named Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona next week, the moment in where the Opera Mini will work for those Apple-gadgets. 
In that world’ largest mobile event, visitors may enjoy the agility of Opera Mini on iPhone, it is even claimed that Mini Opera can save a browsing costs by 90%. As for speed, this Norway-based company said that Opera Mini will run 6 times faster than Safari. “Opera’s mission is to bring the web to the whole world, and the making of Opera Mini on other platforms, we are one step closer,” said Jon von Tetzchner, co-founder of Opera Software.
However, if the user wants to get a bite, it seems that they have to be patient first because Opera Mini was not available to the public. Opera should get ‘green light’ to be used by Apple at the App Store. Opera hopes, Apple will give permission, because many applications are rejected there by Apple.
According to the release received ITGazine, Thursday (2/11/2010), in addition to showing off the Opera Mini for iPhone, Opera Software will also introduce a number of other devices that run the Opera browser.
