Samsung`s ambition for One Million Galaxy Tab
Samsung has a fairly ambitious target to tablet Galaxy Tab. The South Korean vendor is optimistic to sell one million units of Tab Galaxy worldwide at the end of 2010.
In addition, Samsung also intends to add a variant upon Galaxy Tab in some measures next year. They do not want left in tablet competition. “We got very good response in the countries of Southeast Asia and Europe. I predict we will be able to sell more than one million units by the end of this year,” said JK Shin, president of Samsung’s mobile division.
After its debut in several countries, Galaxy Tab now will soon be marketed in their enclosures, South Korea. Galaxy Tab will be towed with operator SK Telecom in circulation in the country.
As quoted from the Sydney Morning Herald, Friday, Samsung also has high hope on Galaxy S smartphone. Shin wants Galaxy S penetrates up to 20 million units this year.
