IDC Survey: 2015 Windows Phone 7 Would Have Overthrown iPhone
NEW YORK – A surprising prediction comes from the renowned research institute IDC about the development of smart phone operating system. IDC said that in 2015 Windows would have overthrown the iPhone Phone 7. Previously, IDC said in 2011 there will be growth of 49.2 percent of smart phone users and especially the transition of enterprise users who switch from feature phones to smartphones. This will encourage the shipment of 450 million smart phones during 2011, an increase over 2010, which shipped 303.4 million units. While this was in 2011, predicted the Android will dominate the market’s most lots with a market share reaching 39.5 percent, followed by 20.9 percent of Symbian. While the IOS itself will be straddling the BlackBerry with Raihan 15.7 percent.

Launched by ZDNet, on Wednesday (03/30/2011), a surprising fact predicted in between 2011 and 2015 Windows Phone 7 will dominate the market with 20.9 per cent achievement. This means, IDC see Microsoft’s OS will outperform the iOS which covers 15.3% market share. Samsung Galaxy S Mini predicted would appear on Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2011 in Barcelona. Samsung Galaxy Mini S are now referred to as Samsung Galaxy Ace (S5830). This new product will follow another Galaxy Samsung clan, with Android OS 2.2 Froyo.
