Some time ago, BlackBerry maker – Research In Motion (RIM) – rumored to be plunged into the realm of the tablet PC with a product called BlackPad. The news seems increasingly hot rolling. That said, RIM has targeted emergence of these tablets at the end of 2010.

An analyst at Rodman & Renshaw, Ashok Kumar said, RIM is currently working on a tablet PC with a 7-inch touch screen and powered by a 1 GHz processor from Marvel. To note, Marvel is a major supplier of processors for BlackBerry Bold 9700 and involved working on computer projects for education, OLPC (One Laptop Per Child).

“RIM is trying to accelerate the launching of its 7-inch screen tablet which was originally scheduled for early next year to the end of this year,” Kumar said as quoted from Cnet, on Monday (7/12/2010),. He also added that RIM’s tablet PC will have two cameras, ie in front of and behind that can be used for video conferencing.

The Canadian vendor is apparently trying to catch Apple in the realm table PC that has been successful course with the iPad. Although it can be said, RIM steps spelled out a little late. Unfortunately, as usual, RIM is still keeping the tablets PCnya and refused to comment about the truth of this news.
