Rumors on iPhone CDMA shipping to South Korea is blowing hard. Even Operator Verizon is rumored to be supporting the marketing of the iPhone 4G (iPhone with an LTE ability aka 4G).

Local newspapers called the Korea Herald, reported that Senior Vice President of LG Uplus, Choi Joo-sick, stated that Apple and LG had an intense discussion with LG Uplus , South Korean wireless operator to offer a iPhone CDMA to consumers in local areas. Such information is quoted from Softpedia, Tuesday.

Meanwhile, a different report was launched from a site called Today’s iPhone claimed that Apple’s iPhone will soon bring new iPhone that supports the standard LTE (Long Term Evolution) or commonly known as 4G, with Verizon as the operator who carried it. The site mentioned and included all the photographs iPhone 4G with Verizon service. Not to forget, an ‘LTE’ writing was also seen in the upper left corner of the screen that shows that the fourth-generation network protocol (4G) are selected.

Still, this news could not be ascertained truth because Apple itself has not given any confirmation on this.

Verizon announces Motorola Droid Pro to take on RIM BlackBerry devices

Kin Failed, Microsoft Focus to Windows Phone 7

Kin did not live long. Only less than three months after moving into the market, Microsoft decided to discontinue the project . They are now focus on Windows Phone 7. Since May, Microsoft unveiled Kin. Two types are offered Microsoft’s Kin, Kin One and Two, relying on social networking features, Kin was targeting young people. Unfortunately, consumers are welcoming cold. Rumor said Kin only sold 500 units. Some reviewers also criticized the smartphone is out. Kin judged difficult to use and less reliable features.

Microsoft Kin also trimmed prices like crazy. Microsoft itself has sentenced Kin as a failed project and decided to stop the production. Now, the software giant chose to focus on developing Windows Phone 7. Kin will not be marketed in Europe in the autumn as planned

Microsoft also said they plan to merge the project team with a team of Kin Phone seventh Windows, combining brilliant ideas from Kin and Windows Phone, in order to create a more sophisticated smartphones in the future. “We’re still going to work with Verizon in the United States to sell its remaining mobile Kin,” Microsoft’s cap.
