V-Touch 8GB Touch Screen Media Player
I am admittedly, an Apple fanboy. I am a serious consumer, so Apple’s marketing is able to reel me in. When I see the pages effortless glide on my iPhone, I feel a sense of happiness that is unbeatable. That being said, I acknowledge that Apple charges a premium for their marketing. I also realize that not everyone is looking for a two or three hundred dollar device for playing their music, but really like the idea of a graphical media player. I had the privilege, however, of playing with the V-Touch 8GB Touch Screen Media Player, and must say I was pleasantly surprised. Is it an iPod Touch alternative? I’ll leave that up to you, but the V-Touch is definitely a device worth considering.
The device has TONS of features, and even a few advantages over the iPod series:
1) Allows memory expansion with a Mini SD Card slot
2) Includes a built-in FM Tuner
3) 2 MegaPixel Camera with VIDEO
Other key features include a built-in voice recorder, audio optimization tools, support for a wide range of audio and video formats, a stylus for navigating the touch screen, and 12 hours of battery life for audio playback. During my limited time with the V-Touch, overall it appeared to be a great device. While I didn’t get to test out every feature, the FM radio and sample videos played seamlessly, and the interface was very user friendly. If you are interested, the V-Touch 8GB Touch Screen Media Player is an amazing deal if you get over to woot.com before they sell out. It is currently selling for $44.99 with an extra pair of upgraded headphones. At that price, it would be a great gift for friends or family who might love a portable entertainment device, but might not be worthy of a $300 gadget
