The device features automatic color balance and exposure, it can convert color or monochrome negatives, and it doesn’t require an additional power source as it uses the USB 2.0 port for data and as a power source.
The VuPoint FSC1VPBX2 Film & Slide Digital Converter features a 5-megapixel CMOS sensor, a 5-megapixel 2592 x 1944 at 2fps frame rate, and SXGA 1280 x 960 a 15 fps frame rate. It comes with fixed focus, it can convert 10 bits per color channel, Fno=2.0, Half-field angle = 15°, 4 glass elements, single pass scan method, 3 white LED backlight, and it supports only Windows XP.
